Mental health awareness
The Manly Marlins are proud to champion mental health awareness, working to create a stronger, more connected community.
The Marlins are also engaged in the Community Awareness & Support Program, using rugby as a platform to connect with youth and residents, delivering powerful messages about mental health, inclusion, and well-being. With such incredible backing from government leaders and organisations like Spoke to a Bloke we’re making significant strides in ensuring no one in our community feels alone.
Together, with the support of our players, fans, and partners, the Manly Marlins are leading the charge to tackle mental health challenges—one conversation at a time.
Spoke to a Bloke
We are committed to normalising conversations by men of all ages and backgrounds to talk more openly about mental health and suicide prevention by supporting greater social acceptance, community activations and online knowledge.
The Grand Stand Program
The Grand Stand is an innovative program using community sport clubs in Northern
Sydney as a platform to engage men as allies in the prevention of domestic abuse
and address men’s health issues, such as mental health, alcohol-related harm and
gambling.
